The online auction website, TeleBid has rebranded as Swoopo.
Swoopo’s new website is a great example of cutting edge online auction design and is easy to use – and quite addictive.
They ask bidders to pay a small amount to bid, claiming they are then able to offer much better and cheaper goods.

Bid butler would appear to be a giant rip off. Set minimum price, set maximum, price, set number of bids and it bids almost immediately at the current price using up your credits and ignores your start and finish prices!
The entire site is designed to get the bidder into a bidding frenzy to use up pre-paid for “bid credits” which go to SWOOPO leaving the bidder with a hefty hole where their money was.

lol, it’s a giant scam from one end to the other…gambling in essence where by a laptop sells for $29 and change.. but each one of those bids was 75 cents…. making for an ACTUAL sale price of $2200 + (2900 bids, 0.75 per bid = $2175 + the selling price of $29…. = $2200 plus!!) .. all for a $600 laptop.. In time i see these sites as being regulated.
