The bideasi websites aim to be the first real alternative to eBay. The vision was to create
a website whereby both Buyers and Sellers would logically decide to visit bideasi FIRST
before they would visit eBay and other similar websites.
Sellers are only charged for successful auctions and are not charged for listing items on
bideasi; are provided with a ready made market of Buyers; greatly reduces time spent by
both Buyers and Sellers in listing, communicating to other members, buying and selling
their items. bideasi provides a more competitive fee structure than eBay and rewards
members with preferential fees for higher positive feedback scores. bideasi has
developed an unique online marketplace that safeguards the interests of Sellers, but
also at the same time provides fair and competitive prices for Buyers.
We have recently been approached by Bob Swan of eBay with interest of acquiring bideasi, which we have subsequently declined as we want to remain in control of bideasi.
